The Miracle Garden in Dubai is, without a doubt, aptly named, especially considering that, like almost everything in this Middle Eastern destination, it was built on desert land.
Billing itself as the world's largest natural flower garden, this 72,000 square metre attraction puts more than 60 million blooms on display.
Located in Dubailand near Arabian Ranches, it opened on Valentine's Day in 2013 and now draws up to 1.5 million visitors a year.

The floral arrangements change with every season, so returning visitors enjoy something new each time they make the trip.
One of the standout highlights was a life-sized replica of an Emirates Airbus A380, which earned the title of "largest floral installation" in the Guinness Book of Records in 2016.
"People are getting bored of malls, of indoor spaces," said Abdel Nasser Y. Rahhal, the man behind the attraction.
"I hope people will realise that this country is not just extremes of concrete and steel.
"This country has wonderful weather seven months of the year... with a little care you can get a truly beautiful result."
The site features 60 different varieties of flowers, including petunias, geraniums and marigolds. The blooms are sustained by reusing wastewater through drip irrigation.
The gardens close during Dubai's notoriously scorching summer months. Temperatures average 40°C from June to September, hardly ideal conditions for admiring flowers.
The grounds are also home to the region's first indoor butterfly garden and sanctuary, the Dubai Butterfly Garden, which stays open all year round.
