# The World's Highest 360-Degree Pool in Dubai

Over the years, Dubai has turned breaking world records into something of an art form, and now the emirate has added yet another to its collection.

The world's first and highest 360-degree infinity pool has just opened at Palm Tower, a hotel and residential building by developer Nakheel, offering a breathtaking view of the Dubai skyline.

Set 200 meters up, the Aura Skypool spans 750 square meters on the 50th floor of the new landmark, which also houses the St. Regis Dubai hotel and sits on Palm Jumeirah.

## Uninterrupted views

Described as an "island in the sky," the space also features a lounge with VIP sunbeds, plus a bar serving cocktails and tapas.

Those keen to dive into the depths of the blue-tiled pool can book a morning or sunset session, while day passes are available for anyone with more time to spare.

Entry starts at $46 (170 dirhams) for a morning visit and climbs to $163 (600 dirhams) for a full day of VIP "island" relaxation with access to the entire Aura venue.

"Aura truly is unlike any other place in the UAE, or indeed the world," said Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of Sunset Hospitality, the company behind the infinity pool, in a statement last month.

## Record holder

"With a 360-degree view of some of the world's most iconic landmarks, from the man-made Palm Jumeirah, marking 20 years since it was built this year, to the Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa and Ain Dubai, all in one place, this is a breathtaking new destination that will continue to showcase the very best of Dubai."

The launch of Aura Skypool comes a few months after the opening of the 240-meter observation deck The View at The Palm on the 52nd floor of the striking tower, while the building has also welcomed the Middle East's first SushiSamba restaurant.

Meanwhile, the world's highest infinity pool inside a building, a 293.906-meter-high swimming spot on the 77th floor of the Address Beach Resort in Dubai's Jumeirah Gate district, was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records earlier this year.

Unlike Aura Skypool, that pool is open only to hotel guests aged 21 and over. However, visitors who have booked a table at the rooftop restaurant Zeta Seventy Seven, located directly opposite the pool, can take in the view and admire the record-breaking pool too.
